Weekend Trip

Aubrey, Lisa and I took a trip to Watertown, Aberdeen and Long Lake this weekend. We left for Watertown Wednesday morning and spent some good quality time with my parents. We went out for a couple great lunches, enjoyed the weather on a nice walk and hung out at the house. We also visited dad's work and showed of Aubrey.

Thursday evening we showed up at Lisa's mother's house. Sandy had her hands full because all the Walker kids and grand kids were spending the day and night. Sandy made us a great dinner and we enjoyed some time together. Later in the evening Aubrey, Lisa and I went to visit our friends Angela and Joe. Joe introduced Aubrey to their cats. Aubrey has loved meeting dogs but was unsure about the cat.

Friday Aubrey, Lisa and I tried to visit as much family has possible. We were able to make it to see Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Joe, Grandma and Grandpa Jensen, and Aunt Kathy, Jeff and Tara. We then went to the Kriech's back yard BBQ. While we were at Aunt Kathy's Aubrey was doing an impression of her Uncle Eric as seen in these videos.

We drove up to the Long Lake area Saturday morning. The whole Walker family was out there already. We enjoyed the farm life. We had some great meals once again and enjoyed hanging out. We drove 4 wheelers around all day and got too much sun. The day before we got there the other grand kids rescued some duck eggs and got to watch them hatch. Dennis also bought a ton of fireworks and we got to light them off once night came.
